A little piece of Paris has come to Ho Chi Minh City with the October 24 opening of the new flagship Brodard Restaurant – Tea House – Pastry on Dong Khoi Street in the heart of downtown.

A new Brodard restaurant has come to town

Producing high-quality baked goods in Vietnam since 1948, Brodard Bakery now comes with new flagship Brodard featuring an extensive menu featuring a wide selection of specialty breads, pastries, as well as cookies and cakes. In addition, there is a range of coffees, speciality teas, juices, smoothies, and ice-creams. The ground-floor patisserie will feature home-made pastries and chocolates, and coffee by Perfetto Caffe. The centrepiece of the venue is a stunning open pastry kitchen.

Brodard’s new location will also introduce “The delights of France in the heart of Saigon” with a traditional brasserie including an extensive list of French wines on the first floor. Classic French dishes on the menu will include Bouillabaisse of slow-cooked seafood, lamb bourguignon with organic carrot and onion, lobster thermidor with organic greens, and poached eggs with foie-gras, asparagus, and truffles.

Savouries for breakfast and dinner starts from VND68,000-198,000++ ($3-8.60++)

Kai Speth, vice president of Operations and Business Performance, WMC Group (the operator of Brodard), said that the Brodard Restaurant – Tea House – Pastry evoked the French heritage of Saigon. “The Brodard name has been synonymous with quality for decades, and with the prime location on Dong Khoi Street, it will be sure to become an essential destination,” he added.

The elegant colonial-era façade of the building has been fully restored, while the interior is style personified with black and white marble tile floors and chandeliers hanging from the vaulted ceilings.

As a special opening promotion, guests to Brodard Restaurant – Tea House – Pastry on Ho Chi Minh City’s Dong Khoi Street will receive 20 per cent off their bill until November 10.
