Flower parades make a magnificent addition to Danang’s fireworks festival

The vehicles flowed at an average speed of 15 kilometers per hour through main streets taking in Asia Park, 2/9 Street, Bach Dang Street, Ba Thang Hai Street, Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Le Duc Tho Street, Hoang Sa Street, Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Nguyen Van Thoai Street, Tran Thi Ly Bridge and back to 2/9 Street and Asia Park.
They represented bridges of the countries or regions they come from, such as Long Bien, Han River, Dragon, Tran Thi Ly and Thuan Phuoc bridges in Vietnam, Swietokrzyski Bridge in Poland, Tournelle Bridge in France, Brooklyn Bridge in the U.S., Rialto Bridge in Italy, Tsing Ma Bridge in Hong Kong, Oresund Bridge in Sweden, and 25 de Abril Bridge in Portugal.

This was the curtain-raising activity of the Carnival festival 2018 which will take place every Saturday evening during the months-long DIFF 2018.
The next parades will be held on May 12, May 19, June 16, June 17, June 23, and June 24, each of which will last two and a half hours.
