Vietnam International Bakery Equipment Show will set a lavish table for industry professionals and pastry-lovers alike

VIBS will be organised by the Taipei Bakery Association (TBA) in collaboration with Chan Chao International Co., Ltd., Vinexad, and Yorkers Exhibition Service Vietnam on October 16-19 at Saigon Exhibition & Conference Center.

Many well-known and prestigious local and international pastry brands have registered to partake in the event, such as ABC, Unifood, Japanese oven-maker Rheon, baking machine-maker Sanko (Japan), BakeMate (India), Namchow, Uni-President, and Chung Pu (Taiwan).

Covering an area of 1,100 square metres, the exhibition will display a dazzling array of baking machines, packaging, associated materials, and a wide assortment of pastry. In addition, part of the exhibition space has been earmarked to present associated information and skills related to the pastry baking industry where Vietnamese and international experts will showcase how delicious pastry is made.

Besides, in the framework of the VIBS, there will be a live demonstration by Yung-Hsin Chen – the champion of the fifth Mondial du Pain. He will introduce a number of the world's most popular bakeries and talk about his experiences in the sector. In addition, the organiser will hold useful conferences, including a discussion of the newest and most important bakery trends in Asia.

Visitors and their family members will have the opportunity to try their hands at baking and enjoy pastries made by artisans using the world's leading equipment.

The Vietnamese confectionary market has been on a stable growth trajectory. Studies show that the local bread and pastry market will reach $630 million this year and grow at an average 8.6 per cent annually in 2019-2023.

In the past nearly two decades, the Taipei Bakery Association (TBA), which represents the Taiwanese bakery industry, has brought diverse international bakery shows to the region, drawing in more than 170,000 visitors from around the world.
