According to statistics, there are six main groups of reasons for flight delays and cancellations by airlines, including equipment and services at the port; flight control and management; inclement weather; carriers; late arrival of aircraft; and others. The late arrival of aircraft accounted for the largest proportion with 60.6 per cent.

Since April, Bamboo Airways has restored and opened six routes connecting Can Tho to Danang and Quy Nhon, Thanh Hoa to Quy Nhon from April 28, Can Tho to Haiphong, Quy Nhon to Da Lat, and Danang to Thanh Hoa from May 15. The routes connecting new provinces and cities such as Dien Bien and others will be operated from the beginning of the third quarter of 2021 to provide passengers with convenient and time-saving non-stop flights.

To ensure absolute safety for passengers, Bamboo Airways continues to strictly comply with disease prevention measures before, during, and after flights, including doing temperature screenings at the airport, providing hand sanitiser and masks at check-in areas, departure gates, and on planes, spraying disinfectant after flights, as well as regularly maintaining HEPA filters on the aircraft. All measures follow guidance by the National Steering Committee for the Prevention of COVID-19, the Steering Committee of the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Health.

Additionally, to save time and avoid airport congestions, Bamboo Airways also recommends that passengers complete a medical declaration before entering the screening point to board the plane and use various self-check-in methods such as online check-in via website and at self-service kiosks. Passengers without check-in baggage can go directly to screening.
