The in-kind donations will be packaged by Wilmar CLV Group and delivered to local authorities, who will distribute them to individuals and families in need. The cash donations will be transferred to the Standing Committee of Quang Ninh's of Fatherland Front.

At the event, Nguyen Van Hoi, a member of the Central Committee and chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee, said, “Quang Ninh is among one of the most severely impacted regions. This contribution will help our people quickly resume production and stabilise their long-term livelihoods."

Vu Van Phu, general director of CALOFIC Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Wilmar CLV, shared, “As a group with two subsidiaries (CALOFIC and VFMW) in Quang Ninh, which also suffered losses from Typhoon Yagi, we deeply understand and empathise with the challenges that Quang Ninh and northern Vietnam are currently facing. Therefore, we see it as our responsibility to contribute and support Quang Ninh and other provinces through this difficult period. We would also like to sincerely thank the officers and frontline workers who, despite the hardships, have tirelessly stood by the people, helping them overcome the disaster.”
