WBO International Title fights set for Hoiana Resort & Golf

This grand event will feature eight exciting fights with the participation of 16 boxers from seven countries. There will be two championship matches from two of the most esteemed boxing organisations in the world: the WBO Global Championship and the IBF Asia Pacific Championship.

This marks the first time a large-scale international boxing event in the Asia-Pacific region will take place at Hoiana Resort & Golf, and in the central region of Vietnam.

The WBO Global Championship title defence fight (WBO Global Championship) will feature Zhu Dianxing, the No. 1 Chinese boxer known as the “Chinese Killer” and current WBO Global Minimum Weight Champion, boasting an impressive record of 13 wins (11 by knockout) out of 14 fights. He will face Jerry Francisco, a Philippine boxing talent known as the “Marksman,” in a bout that is sure to mesmerise fans.

Adding to the heat of the event, the second highlight of the night is the IBF Asia Pacific Welterweight Championship bout between Aketelieti Yelejian, No. 2 in China, and Kim Su Jin, No. 2 in South Korea. This match-up will thrill the audience with a performance of great stamina and determination of the Chinese and the clever strategy of the Korean.

Hoiana Legendary – WBO International Title is jointly organised by Asia Investment Consulting Resource Co., Ltd., Cocky Buffalo Co., Ltd., and Vietnam Boxing Organisation Co., Ltd. Previously, these organisations successfully organised nearly 15 international sports events in many localities, such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. This is the first time the organisations have brought a regional boxing event to Quang Nam province - a potential destination for sports tourism.
