Hoiana Resort & Golf in Quang Nam has announced Melvyn Boey as its new CFO, bringing expertise in strategic financial initiatives and operational efficiency, which are pivotal for guiding financial strategy and market expansion in the luxury hospitality sector.

Melvyn Boey is poised to lead the resort's financial strategy and operations, driving growth and operational excellence, and his appointment aligns with Hoiana’s mission to deliver exceptional guest experiences and advance Vietnam's hospitality industry.

Boey has held diverse leadership roles in equity research, corporate finance, and hospitality-related sectors in his more than 25-year career, and he has demonstrated a strong ability to enhance revenue and optimise expenses.

During his latest tenure at a top Singaporean resort, he played a crucial role in navigating the company through challenges, including the Covid-19 pandemic, by executing business re-orientation and cost optimisation programmes. Before his transition into the hospitality industry, Boey spent many years at top-tier investment banks and institutions, including Schroders, J.P. Morgan and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
