Vietnam moves to join international recognition of vaccine passports
Vietnam is accelerating COVID-19 vaccination nationwide

Accordingly, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has assigned the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to chair and work with the Ministry of Health and other relevant ministries and agencies to accelerate work with authorised agencies in ASEAN, the EU, the US, China, Japan, South Korea, and other countries on the mutual recognition of vaccine passports.

At present, many countries in the world are applying vaccine passports to open the economy and bring socio-economic activities to the new normal. Therefore, the recognition of the vaccine passport between Vietnam and other countries in the region and the world is very important and especially necessary in the current situation.

To date, more than 40 million people in Vietnam have been vaccinated against COVID-19. According to the Ministry of Health, Vietnam will receive more COVID-19 vaccines in October so that cities and provinces can extend vaccination.
