Udemy, one of the world's largest online learning platforms, continues to empower organisations and professionals with localised courses on the latest skills for improved business results and broader accessibility.

Vietnamese organisations and professionals are increasingly leaning on online learning to determine and cultivate essential IT and language skills to keep up with rapid globalisation and digital transformation.

Research by Vietnam’s Edtech highlights the growing e-learning market in Vietnam and the demand for customised learning solutions from domestic companies, particularly in industries such as banking, tourism, manufacturing, and hospitality.

In response to this growing demand, Udemy partnered with online education platform FUNiX to launch a pilot programme for select customers in Vietnam in 2022.

The scheme experienced rapid adoption, with course consumption surpassing one million minutes within the first 12 months.

“There is a strong preference for content that is tailored to local regions and addresses specific business needs, making International Collections a powerful tool for enhancing learners' experiences,” said Rich Qiu, president of New Ventures at Udemy. “Companies in Vietnam are witnessing rapid growth and this has fuelled the demand for educational content on emerging skills related to personal development, IT, leadership, and management.”
