The international campaign organised by the Bureau of Foreign Trade under the Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) took place on August 29 at JW Marriott Hotel in Hanoi.
Taiwan Expo is set to present cutting-edge products and solutions by 57 brands, focusing on the fields of smart technology like transportation, information and communications, home appliances, and sport and healthcare equipment.
Richard R. C. Shih, president and CEO of TAITRA, has been impressed by the efforts of the Vietnamese government to reach Industry 4.0. He shared that Taiwan was elected among the top seven smart cities out of 153 cities over the world on a par with international-level smart cities from Canada, Finland, and Australia. Thereby, they confirm the quality of Taiwan Excellence's products.
Moreover, Shih affirmed that Vietnam and Taiwan enjoy close friendship and a lot of Vietnamese live, work, and study in Taiwan and around 500,000 Vietnamese people visit Taiwan each year. Thereby, Taiwan believes this is an opportune moment to reach out to the Vietnamese market.
“A product with the Taiwan Excellence logo boasts innovative function, premium quality, and high accessibility,” Shih remarked. “As we return to the Vietnamese market this year, we look forward to introducing leading Taiwanese products, which will contribute to further enhancing Vietnamese customers’ living standards, reaffirming our position in the hearts of the Vietnamese people.”
Going along with Taiwan Excellence for the fourth consecutive year, singer-actressMinh Hang, the endorsement celebrity of Taiwan Excellence, said: “Taiwan Excellence surprises me every year with its themes. According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report 2017, Taiwan ranked 17th in the Global Innovation Index. According to the International Institute for Management Development, Taiwan is among the Top 3 in Asia when it comes to innovation and ranks 14th out of the 63 most innovative economies in the world, while maintaining a high competitiveness score in science and technology infrastructure.
At the event, five leading Taiwanese brands—Johnson, GreenE, AVer, ADATA, and ASUS—present new consumer products that are outstanding in their fields, yet user-friendly and useful, such as treadmills by Johnson, treatment blankets by GreenE, and gaming products by ADATA. One eminent product to be presented at the press conference is the Infarex K20 keyboard by ADATA, dubbed as the best choice for “gamers who are looking for a perfect keyboard for every battle.”
