As an international industrial exhibition, VIMF hosts and connects suppliers of machinery, parts, equipment, technology, and process solutions with manufacturers in the vehicle, electronics, machinery, textile, footwear, and high-tech industries.

Among the solutions showcased by Siemens were ROBITSI – Delta Picker. Developed with local original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Idea Tech, ROBITSI is a delta robot that can pick and place products from one running belt to another with great speed and efficiency.

It is a totally integrated automation portal-based solution, that integrates Programmable Logic Controller, Advanced Motion Control library, Industrial Edge, and Robot Control Suite.

This solution is set to revolutionise the way OEMs engineer their processes, optimise manufacturing and expedite market entry.

Siemens also showed how, by combining the real and digital worlds, Virtual Commissioning leads to faster commissioning, reduced costs and risks.

The combined power of SIMATIC Machine Simulator and NX Mechatronics Concept Designer allows engineers to create a Digital Twin of a physical machine, enabling virtual testing and optimisation of systems before deployment, thus accelerating time-to-market, boosting quality, and enhancing safety.

In an increasingly complex industry with more cybersecurity dangers, the ability to detect threats at an early stage will increase security and availability of industrial systems.
