For SkyWorld, sustainable urban development is demonstrated throughout every project, not just stated as a goal. The company recently launched Malaysia's largest affordable housing development.
Its projects are defined by premium living standards, featuring elevated landscape parks – the largest of their kind in Penang – 'healthy home' apartments with natural light and ventilation, integrated sports complexes, children's playgrounds, and smart community connectivity through the SkyWorld Connects application.
In its next phase of growth, SkyWorld has Vietnam as its next core market. While Malaysia continues to serve as its base, Vietnam is viewed as a strategic growth market, driven by rapid urbanisation, a young population, and rising demand for improved living standards.
SkyWorld has spent years researching the Vietnamese market, from urbanisation trends and the rapid expansion of the middle class to the evolving lifestyle expectations of a new generation of residents.
According to company representatives, Vietnam is a high-growth market that is also undergoing a significant transformation in urban living standards. This alignment in vision for sustainable urban development has been a key factor in SkyWorld’s decision to select Vietnam as a strategic destination in its global expansion.
The company has completed the acquisition of a 1-hectare site in Lai Thieu ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly part of Binh Duong province). The site is planned for a residential tower of up to 40 stories, located near Lotte Mart (100 metres), Becamex International Hospital, and several major industrial zones.
In 2023, SkyWorld also acquired a land plot in Ward 16, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City, with plans to develop a 28-story residential project on a 0.52-hectare site.
"We observe that Vietnamese homebuyers are increasingly concerned with quality of life, health, community value, and family-oriented living spaces," a SkyWorld representative said. "This aligns closely with SkyWorld's 'Make Living Better' philosophy, which has proven successful in Malaysia."
"In Vietnam, we are not simply introducing housing products – we are bringing a proven living philosophy centred around 'healthy home' concepts with a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing design, amenities, and overall quality of life," the representative added.

| Four elements define Malaysia's 'healthy home' apartments: light, nature, air and water, and community connection |
This marks the beginning of SkyWorld’s strategy to introduce a new living standard in Vietnam – one centred on health, community connectivity, and urban sustainability.
Through this approach, the company aims to realise its role as a 'city developer', contributing to elevating Vietnam’s urban living standards to international benchmarks.
As housing demand shifts from simply ‘having a place to live’ to ‘having a place to truly enjoy life’, SkyWorld is creating sustainable living spaces and shaping a new standard of living for future generations.
