Muong Thanh Race 2020 – Run for Green will be held from August 1 to 15

Muong Thanh Race 2020 – Run for Green can be seen as a sports bridge to help raise awareness about environmental protection and inspire green actions. By organising this event, Muong Thanh Hospitality wishes to spread healthy lifestyle to participants and the wider community.

In addition, Muong Thanh Race 2020 – Run for Green and its participants will also contribute to the society and protecting the environment. After every kilometre that participants complete during the race, Muong Thanh will donate VND1,000 (4.35 US cents) to the Clean and Green Vietnam fund and sponsor environment protection campaigns by the fund. Most recently, Muong Thanh has been accompanying Clean and Green Vietnam with World Clean Up Day 2020 in Vietnam's major cities like Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Danang, Can Tho, and Phu Quoc.

To join the online race Run for Green, participants should download the app and register on the website Challenge.vn and pick up a suitable running route. The participants' total running results will be recorded during the 15 days of the race.

The first, second, and third prizes will be worth VND70 million ($3,040), while the top 200 racers will all receive electronic certificates from the organiser.

According to the group, Run for Green expects not only to attract participants by its meaning but also to offer each individual the opportunity to challenge their limit while at the same time promoting cultural values and community spirit. In addition to purely sporting purposes, through the Run for Green event, Muong Thanh hopes to send the most inspirational messages about green life.

Aiming to become the National Representative of Vietnam's Hospitality Industry, Muong Thanh understands its role in accompanying social activities. In particular, the fight against environmental issues associated with tourism and expressing the nation's image will be its first priority, which the group is calling for community support to accomplish.
