InterContinental Danang takes over World Travel Awards

InterContinental Danang won five awards at this year's World Travel Awards

Notably, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort has won the following accolades: Asia’s Leading Green Resort 2018, Asia’s Leading Luxury Hotel Villa 2018, Asia’s Leading Luxury Resort 2018, Asia’s Leading Luxury Wedding Resort 2018, and Vietnam’s Leading Luxury Resort 2018.

Of particular note, this year, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort overcame the winner of the previous four consecutive years, Mission Hills Shenzhen (China) as well as seven other competitors to become Asia’s Leading Green Resort 2018. The prize showed that the organising board recognised the efforts of the investor Sun Group and the managing unit InterContinental Hotel Group to create a luxurious green haven.

Besides, this year, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort also surpassed numerous other heavyweight competitors to retain the Asia's Leading Luxury Resort in 2018 title for the fifth consecutive year since 2014.

InterContinental Danang dethroned MIssion Hills Shenzen as Asia's Leading Green Resort

Speaking at the ceremony, Juan Losada, general manager of the resort, said, “Being named as Asia’s Leading Green Resort 2018 is a recognition of our efforts to maintain the stable development of the resort and protect the ecosystem of Son Tra Peninsula.
