Wedding industry experts discussed trends for 2025 at an event on November 8, with personalisation being the standout factor.

Wedding designs and styles are no longer just about elegance and natural beauty, they also allow couples to express their personalities and share their unique love stories.

Today, couples are becoming more diverse and creative in how they celebrate their weddings. Beyond traditional restaurant receptions, many couples prefer hosting intimate weddings with only their closest loved ones in open spaces such as beaches, gardens, and more.

Rituals like the first look, vow ceremonies, and the intimate moments of elopement weddings are being increasingly integrated into pre-wedding celebrations to create emotionally fulfilling moments. To align with this trend, elements such as fashion, venue selection, and wedding planning are also evolving.

According to Van, a representative of The Planners and a prominent figure in the wedding planner industry, intimate weddings with impressive and highly personalised concepts will become even more prevalent in 2025. An example of this trend is the incorporation of new technologies into wedding ceremonies. This aligns with couples’ current desire for intimate, experience-rich weddings.

The increasing popularity of venues located within a one-hour drive from major cities is also expected, allowing couples and guests to enjoy a unique wedding experience without the need for long-distance travel. At the top of the recommended list is An Lam Retreats Saigon River, one of the leading resorts known for its unique, lush, natural event spaces, located just 25 minutes from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City.

“This location not only offers beautiful event spaces but also provides top-tier service and fine dining experiences that meet the needs of both local and international couples,” Van noted, reflecting on her extensive experience organising events at the venue.

Song Garden offers a versatile range of spaces to cater for the diverse needs of brides, grooms, and wedding planners

From the perspective of By Kiet Honey Wedding Planner, who managed the decor for a wedding at Song Garden, styles are moving away from mainstream trends to focus on unique designs that harmonise traditional values with modern individuality. The brand representative also emphasised the importance of the wedding venue.

“There are couples who, despite site-checking various destinations like Phu Quoc or Hoian, ultimately chose An Lam because of its strategic advantages. The proximity to Ho Chi Minh City and its lush riverside greenery provide a unique wedding experience. Song Garden is a perfect example of this.”

Discussing trends that will dominate bridal fashion in 2025, a representative from Thuy Bridal shared, “Elegant silhouettes will continue to be in vogue. Dresses with intricate details and delicate cut-outs that enhance the figure will attract bold brides, while A-line designs and short, flared dresses will be increasingly popular for their youthful and comfortable appeal.” Each dress in Thuy Bridal’s latest collection is created with a spirit of personalisation. Brides can select styles, materials, and details that best suit their preferences and body shapes.

In 2025, nature-inspired themes will not only breathe life into fashion but also shape bridal trends, according to a representative from Tierra Diamond. Collaborating with Thuy Bridal at the event on November 8 at An Lam Retreats, Tierra Diamond introduced exquisite jewellery pieces that captured the pristine beauty of blooming flowers. Notably, the nature-infused setting of Song Garden at An Lam further elevated this spirit to the fullest extent.

“Both Vietnamese and international couples are increasingly choosing to have their wedding photos taken in new, unique locations. This adds depth to the photo collection, making it more than just a series of beautiful moments,” shared a representative from Thien Tong Photography. According to Will Production, many couples also opt for resort settings for their wedding photoshoots due to the luxurious atmosphere, convenience, and stunning scenery, which create the perfect backdrop for romantic photos. Additionally, these venues offer privacy and relaxation, allowing couples to feel comfortable throughout the shoot.

With its spacious area and flexible design, Song Garden can be customised to suit various types of events, from weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries to conferences, gala dinners, and product launches. This versatility allows it to cater for diverse client needs and become a premier venue for high-end, private events close to Ho Chi Minh City.
