Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, signed a decision on September 24 to recognise the Huong Son complex in My Duc, Hanoi, as a city-level tourist area.

Spanning over 4,000 hectares, the Huong Son complex is a large cultural-religious complex comprising 21 pagodas, temples, and caves dedicated to Buddha and deities of indigenous agricultural beliefs.

The Huong Son complex features mountains, the three-tiered Huong Son forest, and the Yen stream. Built in the 15th century and renovated multiple times, the Huong Son complex has preserved its historical and scenic value, contributing to the distinctive and diverse Buddhist culture in Vietnam.
