Collaborating with the Red Cross’ Ho Chi Minh City chapter to organise the 10-day fundraiser, the campaign elicited strong support from business partners, tenants, and employees of Frasers Property Vietnam as well as the project developments under Frasers Property Vietnam such as Q2 Thao Dien – a mixed-use development – and Melinh Point – a commercial property.

The funds will go towards the repair of school facilities in the central provinces affected by recent natural disasters, especially those in Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province, which were severely damaged by Typhoon No.12.
According to Lim Hua Tiong, CEO of Frasers Property Vietnam, the corporation stands in solidarity with the local community, whose lives and livelihoods have been disrupted by the pandemic and recent natural disasters.
“We hope these funds help support the recovery in Central Vietnam and also raise further awareness of the needs of the community during this challenging period. We want to thank our tenants, business partners, and employees who have contributed to this fundraising campaign in one way or another,” Hua Tiong said.
Tran Truong Son, president of Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross, lauded Frasers Property Vietnam’s strong support and contributions towards the “Back to School” community initiative.
“Through the collaboration with Frasers Property Vietnam, we hope to help the local schools pull through this difficult time as well as encourage and support the children to return to school soon," said Son.
Besides the Back to School initiative, Frasers Property Vietnam has been collaborating with the Red Cross to mobilise blood donation drives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
