On May 14, at the C.P. Vietnam's Hanoi branch, vice chairman of the company Sakchai Chatchaisophon handed over tonnes of food to Nguyen Duc Tien, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union in Hanoi, and Ngo Van Thien, standing vice chairman of the Hanoi's Vietnam Youth Union.
This food was made by C.P. Vietnam and includes 3.4 tonnes of processed chicken for meals of the SEA Games 31's volunteers, adding a variety of dishes to the menus of volunteers.
Tien said, "SEA Games 31 has opened for a few days, and the volunteers have been working for one month at the competition sites, including receptionists, interpreters, cheerleaders, and supporting activities. In total, we have 5,000 volunteers."
Chatchaisophon also introduced the production and business activities at the factories of C.P. Vietnam and food products to support volunteers. "We hope that through it, the volunteers will have more health and joy, contributing to the success of the organisation of SEA Games 31," he said.
Earlier, at the Southeast Asian Youth Festival, C.P. Vietnam also had a booth for sample products like crispy chicken and sausages, which were enjoyed by attendees and young people.
