Over the past three decades, BAC A BANK has accompanied its customers through life's ups and downs while advising and helping businesses to develop sustainably, create core values, and bring true value to the community.
BAC A BANK has been a pioneer in providing investment consultancy for the dairy farming, supplementary foods, rice and vegetable production, sustainable forest development, education, and healthcare sectors. Projects that BAC A BANK has invested in, such as TH true MILK, TH true Water, and TH true Herbal, have shown strong brand positioning in domestic and foreign markets.
From being the first and only rural commercial joint-stock bank established in the north-central region, BAC A BANK currently has an expansive network spanning 41 key economic provinces and cities with more than 170 transaction points. The bank offers a diversified range of financial products, supplemented by many new and regularly deployed promotional schemes to meet its customers' needs. BAC A BANK is also going digital to optimise the user experience and provide comprehensive, high-quality financial products and services.
In the challenging post-pandemic era, the bank has adjusted interest rates accordingly - increasing deposit interest rates but trying to keep lending rates low – to support people and businesses to overcome the current difficulties
BAC A BANK's business philosophy is based on five core values: Pioneering, Professionalism, Reliability, Continuous Improvement, and For People. As a result, BAC BANK does not prioritise profit over all else, but rather seeks to optimise and harmonise benefits for its customers and the community.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, held on October 5 in Ho Chi Minh City, Chu Nguyen Binh, deputy general director of BAC A BANK, said, “When facing market uncertainty, we will always focus on the ‘For People’ factor. This award is recognition from the community for a business that upholds its principles and aims for sustainable values and happiness for generations of Vietnamese people.”
Thai Huong, general director of BAC A BANK, and founder and chairwoman of the Strategic Council of TH Group, has brought sustainable values and many contributions to the community. She and BAC A BANK have encouraged TH Group and many other businesses to use technology to unlock the potential power of its resources and bring positive change and new livelihoods to rural, agricultural areas. TH's high-tech production model has become an often-cited example of how to restructure the country’s economy.
Speaking on how Vietnamese agricultural products have been increasingly finding favour in the wider world, Huong said, “I will continue to promote Vietnam's image as a place of high-tech agriculture to the world.” Huong's impressive business mindset, along with her vision and passion, convinced the APEA panel to award her the title of 'Master Entrepreneur Award.'
