According to the provincial Department of Tourism, to continue attracting visitors during the year-end period, it has collaborated with the Tourism Association and localities to launch a tourism stimulus programme across all activities, types, and sectors.
In terms of accommodation, 34 establishments across the province have registered programmes to discount room rates, food and beverage services, venue rentals, conference and seminar packages, and tour services, offering reductions from 10 per cent to 65 per cent.

Brands that have registered for promotional programmes include Melia Ho Tram, Ixora Ho Tram By Fusion, Grand Ho Tram, Fusion Suites Vung Tau, Premier Pearl Vung Tau, Vietsovpetro Resort, and many more.
In addition to the registered establishments, most accommodation facilities in the area are offering year-end discounts. Hoang Ngoc Linh, standing vice chairman of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Association, noted that visitors to during this period have numerous options.
"Along with hotels and resorts, homestays and serviced apartments are also offering deep discounts. Farmstays in Chau Duc, Xuyen Moc, and Dat Do districts are also rolling out attractive, high-quality packages at competitive prices," Linh said.
Hundreds of destinations to choose from
The variety of destinations in the province indicates that Ba Ria-Vung Tau offers not only beach activities, dining, and relaxation but also many exciting and attractive tours, routes, and experiences for visitors.
In terms of destinations, besides the popular and well-known spots in Vung Tau city, such as the various beaches, there are also landmarks like Hon Ba, the mountains, a lighthouse, and Nghinh Phong Cape, as well as cultural and historical sites such as Thich Ca Phat Dai, Thang Tam Temple, Linh Son Co Tu Pagoda, and the Statue of Christ the King.
The province is also actively promoting other interesting sites, including craft villages, agricultural cooperatives, farms, high-tech agricultural production areas, ecotourism zones, and historical sites across various localities in the province.
The province has designed over 50 intra-provincial tourism routes, with highlights including 15 tours for cruise ship tourists, over 10 tours for exploring Con Dao, as well as beach, resort, and craft village tours. The tour itineraries are varied in length, allowing visitors to choose between single-day trips and longer tours, with some itineraries extending up to four days.
Meanwhile, many exciting cultural, sports, and entertainment events are due to take place across the province. Notable among them is Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week, scheduled on December 13-15 in Vung Tau city and Xuyen Moc district. Another major event is the 239th death anniversary of Lady Phi Yen, which is taking place at An Son Mieu Monument in Con Dao district from November 9 to November 18.
Additionally, events for both Christmas and Lunar New Year 2025 in various localities throughout the province will also offer visitors many exciting experiences.
To provide visitors with the best experiences, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Department of Tourism, in collaboration with localities and relevant departments, has implemented a number of synchronised solutions to promote tourism development.
Accordingly, the districts, towns, and cities have planned the restoration and enhancement of historical sites and landmarks for tourists. At tourist attractions, investments are needed for facilities such as parking lots, public restrooms with standard quality, souvenir and local speciality stalls, and traffic direction signs.
Additionally, these destinations will strengthen efforts to attract investment from organisations and individuals to develop appealing tourism services, while continuing to promote activities such as publicity, advertising, and collaborative efforts for tourism development.
Travel service businesses will also enhance product development, and connect tours and routes both within and outside the province.
