The Traditional Village Festival – ASEAN Tourism 2019 was successfully initiated in Bac Ninh province on May 9-13, gathering provincial and governmental leaders, as well as representatives from ASEAN member countries’ embassies in Vietnam.
This event is one of the focal programmes within the scope of the ASEAN Business Women 2019 forum, with exhibitions of local handicrafts, fine art, traditional products; introducing local tourism products, accommodation and tourism models; talk shows introducing partners, local investment policies, exchanging marketing strategies, and most notably a contest finding the new face of ASEAN Business Women.
Traditional Village Festival – ASEAN Tourism 2019 features the presence of stunning ASEAN beauty queens from Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, India, and Thailand, who are also successful businesswomen at home and abroad. They are believed to be powerful ambassadors helping connect traditional villages and tourism potential among ASEAN members.

Especially, to emphasise the meaningful target of the festival for businesses, accommodation sites, and travel agencies are also offered numeroussupports from the organiser in their showcases.
About 150 enterprises from the tourism industry gathered at the festival during this five-day event, introducing unique products which reflect the values of Vietnamese culture.

Traditional Village Festival – ASEAN Tourism 2019 is expected to build a women business as well as enterprise community, where businesses can co-operate and grow healthily. After its first stop in Vietnam’s Bac Ninh, the event will continue its journey to Laos in July, Gia Lai (Vietnam) in September, and to Hanoi (Vietnam) in December.
