AEON plans to further expand its presence in Vietnam by integrating its core business areas, shopping mall development, retail, and financial services, while aligning with broader goals of sustainable and inclusive growth in local communities.

The retail group has identified Vietnam as a key growth market and aims to triple its business scale in the country by 2030, reflecting the group's strategic focus on long-term expansion in the region

To achieve these goals, AEON is pursuing a dual strategy: vertically, by streamlining supply chains and expanding its private labels such as TOPVALU and HÓME COÓRDY to offer quality products at accessible prices; and horizontally, by rolling out a multi-format retail model and expanding its store network across both major urban centres and regional markets. This two-pronged approach underpins the company's broader business strategy in Vietnam.

In addition to retail, AEON is building the 'AEON Ecosystem' by leveraging its group-wide capabilities in shopping mall development, financial services, and entertainment to build a comprehensive 'AEON Living Sphere' aimed at improving everyday life.

AEON has made sustainable development a core part of its long-term strategy, focusing on three pillars: economic growth, social responsibility, and environmental protection. As a retailer, AEON Vietnam aims to support the government’s efforts to achieve national sustainability goals

AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd is under the direct authority of AEON group and was established in 2011. AEON Vietnam operates in five retail segments in Vietnam: shopping malls, general merchandise stores, supermarkets, speciality stores, and e-commerce. Since the opening of the first shopping mall, AEON - Tan Phu Celadon, in 2014, AEON Vietnam has expanded its business with over 7,000 employees nationwide.
