The one-day seminar featured two sessions with content aimed at both manufacturing enterprises and government leaders at all levels in Dong Thap province, along with a number of guests from neighbouring provinces such as Ca Mau, Soc Trang, Tay Ninh, and Tien Giang.
This first session focused on emerging topics that are of interest to the whole society, such as digital transformation in public administration, factory digitalisation, energy management in manufacturing, cold chain management in the seafood and pharmaceutical industries, smart infrastructure and transportation, and smart healthcare.
Speakers and guests came from the world's leading tech corporations and government departments, including the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Department of Information and Communication, and the Department of Industry and Trade.
The seminar also aimed to make suggestions for removing many bottlenecks and answering questions for businesses through discussion sessions around digital transformation.
The seminar was an opportunity for businesses and local authorities to establish a foundation for the implementation of digital transformation in the province while connecting local businesses with leading IoT solution providers both domestically and globally, including Intel, Advantech, DTi Corp, Techpro JSC, and LK Engineering.

All of the data from these systems will be collected, visualised, and analysed on Advantech's WISE-PaaS platform.
The application of a digital management model offers great benefits to all stakeholders in the management system as well as citizens’ quality of life.
Local businesses will also be able to optimise production management resources, helping them to make quick decisions, reduce operating costs, and gain access to many more markets to increase their competitiveness.
