The state-of-the-art centre is set to become a hub for showcasing the widest array of 3M electronics technologies and solutions in Southeast Asia in addition to its extensive range of solutions in transportation safety, and commercial markets.
The new centre offers visitors an immersive experience with guided tours and interactive demonstrations, highlighting the ways in which 3M’s advanced technologies are driving progress and developing solutions for Vietnam’s future.
“Vietnam is the fastest growing market for our electronics business in Southeast Asia and our new Customer Experience Centre in Hanoi is a testament to our dedication to this market,” said Amit Laroya, senior vice president for Asia at 3M Transportation & Electronics Business Group. “It embodies our commitment to scale up our efforts in high-growth markets that need our cutting-edge solutions across sectors including consumer electronics, semiconductors, data centres and industrial automation.”
Each of these is a field in which Vietnam has made great strides in developing its manufacturing base and accelerating the growth of its entire export economy, Laroya added. "We are excited to offer a space where customers can explore and engage with 3M technologies and see first-hand how we are contributing to the advancement of the electronics industry.”
The new 417 square-metre facility complements 3M’s existing Customer Technology Centre in Ho Chi Minh City and showcases solutions and collaboration opportunities to the company’s partners around the country.
"Over the next two years, we plan to invest in more advanced testing equipment to meet the needs of the fast-growing market in Vietnam, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of technological innovation," Laroya said.

This milestone, marking 3M's 30 years in Vietnam, reaffirms the goal of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to cooperate in promoting innovation, fostering creativity, and advancing technology alongside our Vietnamese partners.”
From its humble beginnings as a representative office, 3M Vietnam has expanded to include a headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, a second office in the capital, and three research and development facilities.
