WorldSteel Group opens second office building in Long An

The Long An WorldSteel Group building is located in Lots Q9, 10, 15, and 16 of the Hai Son Industrial Park in Long An province and was constructed with steel structure solutions manufactured at the WorldSteel Long An factory.

The development of the WorldSteel Group in recent years has led to a growth in human resources and a need for an increase in workspace. Following its people-centric strategy, the board of directors advocated building a large-scale headquarters, not only to expand business activities but also to create a convenient and comfortable environment that would stimulate creativity among its employees.

The office building in Long An prioritises the operations team with the goal of responding quickly to activities related to product quality and the needs of domestic and international clients.

At the ceremony on January 14, founder, chairman, and general director of the company Nguyen Khanh Lam said the building was set up with open workspaces, green landscaping, parks, and many other relaxation areas.

"WorldSteel Group Long An aims to bring all employees peace of mind and happiness in their workplace," Lam said.

Over the 10 years of its establishment and development, WorldSteel has resonated in the industrial construction industry with many projects across Vietnam.

WorldSteel's most prominent projects include being the general contractor of the Tien Giang Tongwei project, the Hai Duong Tongwei project, the Hau Giang Sunpro Steel complex project, the Tay Ninh Brotex yarn factory project Phases 3 and 4, the advanced battery factory complex project invested in by the Singapore GPPD Energy Co. in Binh Phuoc, and many bidding packages for the Dung Quat-Quang Ngai Hoa Phat project.

Other key projects include the Long Son petrochemical project's H&I-8 warehouse 2 package and steel structure exports to foreign markets, especially in Southeast Asia (Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Myanmar), Australia, and the US.

The company has been awarded the AC472 certificate, a quality management system that is required for steel structure products to be exported to the US market.

In 2019, WorldSteel's first office building was built in the Tan Phu District of Ho Chi Minh City.

WorldSteel also acts as the general contractor for a series of large industrial construction projects that are exporting steel structures to the international market.

First mercury-free battery factory in Binh Phuoc put into operation The handover ceremony of the GPPD battery factory between general contractor WorldSteel Group and investor GPPD Energy Co., Ltd. took place on October 19 at Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Park in the southern province of Binh Phuoc.
