This model optimises the advantages of industrial clusters and enhances supply chain productivity.
It minimises logistics costs and creates a favourable environment for production and business activities, paving the way for businesses to expand cooperation and achieve sustainable growth within the global industrial ecosystem.
Logistics Industrial Cluster model |
The LIC is an advanced industrial park (IP) model that integrates three core pillars: the development of IP infrastructure, synchronised logistics infrastructure, and logistics operations.
This holistic solution optimises costs for investors and represents a new trend in industrial development, addressing critical infrastructure and logistics challenges in the Vietnamese market.
Western Pacific Group has strategically identified northern Vietnam as a key area for expanding the LIC model, thanks to its advantageous geographical location and modern transportation infrastructure.
The region is well-connected through major arteries such as National Highway No.1A, Hanoi–Thai Nguyen Expressway, Hanoi–Haiphong Expressway, and Phap Van–Cau Gie – Ninh Binh Expressway. These routes provide seamless links to the Chinese border, Lach Huyen Seaport, and Noi Bai International Airport.
Provinces such as Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, and Ha Nam boast well-developed infrastructure, facilitating connections among businesses in the region and supporting international expansion. This creates an ideal environment for efficient goods transportation and attracts both domestic and foreign investors.
National Highway No.3 Overpass (Hanoi–Thai Nguyen Expressway) connects with Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park |
From the successful development of Yen Phong II-A IP, a flagship LIC venture in Bac Ninh province, Western Pacific has rapidly expanded their footprint with the Yen Lenh Industrial Cluster in Ha Nam province and is enlarging the LIC ecosystem across northern Vietnam.
In Bac Giang, a province with exceptional growth in manufacturing and processing industries, particularly in electronics and high-tech sectors, Western Pacific is extending Yen Lu IP, leveraging its connections to National Highway No.1A for easy access to the Chinese border.
In Ha Nam, a rising investment hotspot in northern Vietnam serving as the southern gateway to Hanoi, Western Pacific is actively expanding their land bank for the LIC ecosystem. This includes Dong Van V IP (237 hectares) and Dong Van VI IP (250ha), both featuring synchronised, integrated infrastructure and diverse utility services.
Through investments in modern industrial and logistics infrastructure, Western Pacific is building a comprehensive LIC network. This system integrates factories, warehouses, logistics hubs, administrative services, and enclosed utilities within a unified ecosystem. The model helps businesses reduce transportation time, cut emissions, lower operational costs, and enhance competitiveness in the region.
Moreover, the LIC model fosters a diverse industrial ecosystem where businesses can collaborate and form synergies. This not only strengthens their competitive edge but also contributes to local socio-economic development and the overall growth of Vietnam's economy.
