Vietravel Airlines now operates the Hanoi - Bangkok - Hanoi route with a frequency of one round-trip flight per day by a fleet of narrow-bodied intelligent A321 aircraft. The golden flight time frame departs from 11:55am and is suitable for diverse needs from tourism and business to shopping, with ticket prices starting from VND66,000.

The airline also cooperates with Vietravel Corporation to utilise the strengths of the tourism ecosystem, providing customers with flights combined with all kinds of travel services at the best cost.

The ceremony to welcome the Hanoi - Bangkok route of Vietravel Airlines was honoured to have the presence of high-ranking delegates from agencies and departments, including representatives of the government, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in Vietnam, and strategic partners.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vietravel Airlines CEO Vu Duc Bien said that conquering the international aviation market was the goal set by Vietravel Airlines' Board of Directors in the early days of its establishment.

Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Nikorndej Balankura said that Vietravel Airlines' participation in the route to Thailand was not only good news for Vietnamese people but also for all Thai people who love Vietnam, and now have more choices between the two countries at a suitable cost.

“We hoped that in the near future, the airline will expand its flight network connecting many major tourist cities of Vietnam and Thailand, contributing to promoting cultural exchanges and developing the tourism potential of the two countries,” said Balankura.

Meanwhile, Dinh Viet Son, deputy director of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, congratulated Vietravel Airlines for having developed over nearly two active years, with the first international route officially put into operation.

“We hope that the airline will continue to promote its strengths to bring passengers safe, punctual and professional flights, together with the parent company Vietravel with more than 20 years of development experience in the Thai market, and to bring new results for the economy and the tourism industry,” said Son.

Vietravel Airlines is still working with the aviation authorities of Vietnam and Thailand to get ready for the expansion of routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok in January 2023 and towards connecting flights between Vietnam and Northeast Asia.

As of November 15, Vietnam is in the top five largest sources of Thai tourists, with nearly 373,000 visitors. The Thai market is also in the top three favorite destinations of Vietnamese tourists. With its close geographical distance, cultural similarities, simple visa procedures, and low cost, it continues to be the preferred choice of many Vietnamese tourists.

Vietravel Airlines is invested by the largest travel group in Vietnam and Asia - Vietravel Corporation, and officially operated its first commercial flight, Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi, on January 25, 2021.

Vietravel Airlines focuses on exploiting commercial flights with a fleet of modern narrow-body Airbus A321/Boeing 737 or equivalent aircraft.

In the first two years, the airline focused on exploiting domestic and Asian route networks (South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore) with a fleet of six A321 aircraft and will increase to 12 aircraft next year.
