Hanoi – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will gradually increase flights from/to the central city of Da Nang as COVID-19 outbreaks have been brought under control nationwide, said a representative of the airline.
Between now and September 15, the airline will run two round trips from Hanoi and three others from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang. From September 15 to the end of this month, the respective numbers will be raised to four and five.
Along with another by its joint venture Pacific Airlines, the carrier is set to operate 10 trips per day to the city.
Flight schedule may be adjusted based on situations and development of the pandemic, it warned.
Social distancing and preventive measures will be applied during the flights per order of the Ministry of Transport to curb the spread of COVID-19.
