TH Group launches herbal tea products
September 27, 2022 | 09:43
The TH true HERBAL products use herbal materials cultivated in the Vietnamese territory, especially in the Muong Long area in the central province of Nghe An’s Ky Son district where TH Group is now operating its Muong Long Centre for Conserving and Developing Medical Herbs.
Cultivated on the mountain with an altitude of 1,500m, the herbs are of high quality, with the materials closely controlled, from cultivation to processing, meeting the strictest standards set out by the Ministry of Health and the Vietnamese standards on filter-bag herbal tea.
The products are made at a factory that fully meets the ISO 22000:2018 standard on producing dried and filter-bag tea, including the automatic production lines imported from Italy.
In addition, the products are packaged in filter bags that meet European standards – not containing nylon or plastic and being user-friendly.

“Embarking upon herbal production and development, TH Group will launch products that are good for health, improve resistance, and prevent infectious diseases. TH Group is currently researching and learning from companies around the world specialising in medicinal products and supplementary foods to prepare and replace active ingredients of Western medicine with substances with equivalent effects that we can prepare from the herbal medicine of our country,” said Thai Huong, founder and chairwoman of TH Group’s Strategic Council.
“From the results in exploring those substitutes, TH Group will launch a series of products that are cosmetics, food, and healthy pharmaceuticals with the same medicinal herbs made by TH Group,” she added.
Huong continued, “With the TH true HERBAL products launched, I hope that each person with their research and understanding of herbs will become a doctor for themselves and their families, improving their health from the use of healthy, herbal products.”

Market research showed that the average annual growth rate of the world's pharmaceutical market is at 12-15 per cent, estimated to be worth $178.4 billion by 2026. Vietnam is also one of 15 nations worldwide famous for its herbal medicine thanks to its diverse flora and fauna resources and many endemic medicinal plants with high use and economic value, as well as long-standing traditional medicine.
Previously, TH Group launched a number of products made from gac fruit, including Lyco-Prevent Gac capsules. With outstandingly high lycopene and beta-caroten content, Lyco-Prevent is the first product in the world made entirely from organic gac fruits, meeting organic standards of the United States and Europe – the world's highest standards in agriculture.
