Runners gear up as Sedona SkyRun makes a comeback

Sedona SkyRun currently stands as the city’s one and only vertical race, and following the success of its inaugural run, August 10 will see Sedona SkyRun 2025 continue to serve as a platform for individuals of all fitness levels to come together in pursuit of both personal achievement and community betterment.

A highlight of this year’s edition is the introduction of a new challenge prize: participants who succeed in breaking the standing course record of five minutes and 22 seconds, set in 2024, will receive a special recognition award in addition to the standard prizes. The top three finishers will continue to be awarded as usual, but this new incentive adds one more layer of fun.

Proceeds from this event will contribute to an ongoing corporate social responsibility initiative led by Keppel Vietnam, focused on improving educational infrastructure for underserved communities. Support will be extended to Bien Gioi Secondary School and Dong Khoi Secondary School in Tay Ninh province, benefiting over 800 students through the donation of computers, air conditioners, and a collection of educational books to enhance their libraries and IT classrooms.
