KCN Vietnam on October 25 launched its newest project in Nhon Trach VI Industrial Park in Dong Nai province, marking its third venture there so far.
This 14.5-hectare development will add nearly 100,000 square metres of high-quality, ready-built warehouses designed to meet LEED Gold standards. Scheduled for completion in 2025, this project marks a step forward in Vietnam’s logistics and foreign investment landscape.
KCN Vietnam’s commitment to meeting LEED Gold standards aligns with the rising demand for eco-friendly industrial infrastructure in the southeast, which is a key logistics hub for Vietnam.
Despite handling around half of the country’s goods and 60 per cent of its container traffic, logistics infrastructure investment in the region has lagged, meeting only 25-27 per cent of actual demand. KCN Vietnam’s green practices are set to bridge this gap, attracting both domestic and international investors with a focus on sustainable development.
Dong Nai province, a strategic location due to its proximity to Ho Chi Minh City, aims to expand its logistics industry significantly. By 2030, the province targets an annual growth rate of 30-35 per cent for logistics, with the sector contributing 20-25 per cent to its GDP.
Investments like KCN Vietnam’s new warehouse facilities are essential to achieving these goals, addressing the growing demand for logistics services, and bolstering the region’s overall economic development.
The group’s new investment in Nhon Trach VI offers convenient access to major transportation networks. The future Long Thanh International Airport is only 20km away, and major ports such as Cat Lai and Cai Mep are within 40km. This connectivity will attract more foreign investors and strengthen Dong Nai’s position as a key player in Vietnam’s logistics industry.
Hardy Diec, COO of KCN Vietnam, said, “We are committed to creating environmentally friendly buildings that reduce energy consumption and meet the growing expectations of international investors. This project underlines our dedication to sustainable development and our role in supporting the region’s logistics and economic growth.”
The new warehouse project is part of KCN Vietnam’s broader expansion strategy. In 2024, the company has launched four major industrial real estate projects across northern and southern Vietnam, offering nearly 400,000sq.m of industrial space. These developments include ready-built warehouses, factories, and hybrid factory spaces, catering to diverse business needs.
KCN Vietnam’s focus on sustainable, high-quality facilities has helped it gain a competitive edge in the rapidly growing industrial real estate market.
By focusing on sustainability, high-quality infrastructure, and strategic locations, the company is addressing the increasing demand for logistics facilities while contributing to the long-term economic development of Dong Nai and the broader southeast region. These projects also play a crucial role in strengthening Vietnam’s position in the global logistics and supply chain industries.
