As part of the initiative, Nestlé Vietnam and Kenh14 organised the "Flex Quality Tet - Choose Cool Gifts" contest to honour the values of the traditional holiday. The contest sparked strong interest, attracting thousands of consumers to share their own definitions of a “Quality Tet,” while creating hundreds of discussions about this topic on social networking sites.
Among the countless images and messages shared, the three most prominent themes were Tet Doan Vien (Reunion Tet), Tet An Yen (Peaceful Tet), and “Tet Flex,” attracting many young people. These clearly reflected the wishes and thoughts of the younger generation during Lunar New Year, when the image of family reunions and gatherings with loved ones is a core value that is cherished every spring.
In addition, two short commercials about the Lunar New Year holiday by Nestlé Vietnam also garnered more than 20 million views and millions of interactions on social networks. The short commercials feature a family reunion with all the children and grandchildren, a captain going out to sea to celebrate Tet with his colleagues, and a child far away from home celebrating Lunar New Year with his family on a tablet. The message behind the commercials is that every generation hopes for a great Tet holiday.
In light of the festive season and the biggest shopping time of the year, Nestlé has also launched attractive offers, giving consumers nationwide the opportunity to participate and receive practical gifts.
The offers will be available until January 31. Consumers can participate in interactions on the Nestlé Family website (giadinhnestle.com.vn/cautetchatluongtrongtay) and visit Nestlé booths at Big C and Co.opmart chains to receive Nestlé gifts.
