Continuing its commitment to community support and inclusive growth, Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam has donated 256 pre-loved laptops to two organisations, the Pacific Links Foundation and Saigon Children’s Charity, during a handover event on April 22 at Mondelez Kinh Do Plant in the southern province of Binh Duong and its Ho Chi Minh City office.
Through this meaningful initiative, laptops once used in the company are now being given a new purpose: empowering students across the country who are striving every day to overcome challenging circumstances in pursuit of knowledge and a brighter future.

At the handover ceremony, Anil Viswanathan, managing director at Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam, noted that Mondelez Kinh Do was committed to sustainable development and corporate responsibility, as they believe meaningful impact begins with small, purposeful actions.
“This laptop donation initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to create a positive and lasting social impact. We are truly grateful to work with Pacific Links Foundation and SaigonChildren to bring those helpful educational devices closer to students who need it most. Together, we’re not just supporting education, we’re helping shape a brighter, more inclusive future for everyone,” said Viswanathan.
Out of the total, 155 laptops were distributed through Pacific Links Foundation, supporting students in various educational programmes.
These devices will be allocated to high school and university students participating in the SEEDS (Scholarship to Elevate Education and Develop Skills) and Girl Empowerment Mekong Scholarship programmes across 12 localities in Vietnam’s central and Mekong delta regions.
Through the Growing Learning Opportunities Worldwide online platform, students will have access to English courses, soft skills workshops, and the Growing with Information Technology self-paced IT learning programme.
Additionally, the laptops will be provided to students from Vinh Yen Secondary School in Lao Cai, a resident community recently heavily affected by Typhoon Yagi, and to underprivileged students at the University of Information Technology.
