The Ministry of Information and Communications on November 13 debuted the akaBot platform, providing comprehensive solutions for automation and digitisation to help businesses improve their productivity and save costs.

This is one of the activities to introduce “Make in Vietnam” digital products and platforms to implement the prime minister's recently-approved National Digital Transformation Programme by 2025, with vision to 2030.

AkaBot developed by FPT Group is a Robot Process Automation (RPA) platform which are ready to automate business and take them to the future.

With the core technology of RPA, akaBot is able to integrate AI and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to develop comprehensive smart automation solutions without trespassing upon the existing IT system and it is able to interact with business software like Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, and others.

AkaBot can be applied in varied sectors such as banking and finance, retail, manufacturing and logistics, enabling businesses to cut costs by 60 per cent, increase productivity by 80 per cent, and reduce time by 90 per cent, while ensuring the highest security.

AkaBot is one of the six most popular RPA platforms globally ranked by Software Reviews, Vietnam’s top 10 technology products 2020, and Stevie Awards 2020. AkaBot is supplying RPA solutions to over 20 customers and partners in six countries: Vietnam, the US, Japan, the UK, South Korea, Taiwan, with prominent names being Thinkpower, HSBC, Panasonic, TPBank, and Mizuho.
