After three years of launch, FPT.AI has gained encouraging achievements in the domestic and international market, with the number of users reaching 70 big businesses in many sectors such as telecommunications, e-commerce, banking and finance, and public administration.
akaBot wins “Make in Vietnam” Digital Award 2020 |
AkaBot is a Robot Process Automation (RPA) platform providing comprehensive solutions for automation and digitisation to help businesses increase their productivity by 80 per cent and save 60 per cent of operation costs, and reduce time-consumption by 90 per cent.
At present, akaBot is supplying solutions to over 50 customers and partners in eight countries, with DIP, Unilever, Panasonic, HSBC, Mizuho being the prominent names.
In addition to akaBot and FPT.AI, FPT has four other platforms and products named in the Top 10 of “Make in Vietnam” Digital Award 2020. They are akaChain, FPT.EagleEye, CodeLearn, and FPT.iBus.
FPT’s digital products and platforms have contributed greatly to accelerating the development of digital economy, digital society, and digital government towards the creation of the digital nation vision.

Speaking at the forum, Truong Gia Binh, chairman of FPT, said that, “Starting business as a provider of outsourcing products and services, we have developed into a famous provider of software with high added value for many powerful groups worldwide such as Airbus and Toyota, among others. We have had a big dream of deepening Vietnam’s image to the global digital map, bringing Vietnamese-made IT products to the world. And this dream now comes true.”
“We have made pioneering steps in the IT market but we hope that all players in the technology community go with one another to develop Vietnam into a brighter and more prosperous country,” Binh said.
Established in 1988, FPT provides overall IT solutions in three areas of technology, telecommunications, and education. After 30 years of development, the corporation is present in 59 out of 63 cities and provinces across Vietnam and is expanding globally with 46 representative offices in 22 countries and territories.
