Le Méridien Saigon associates, including its general manager, heads of departments, and associates from all departments rolled up their sleeves to pick up the litter and cleaned up Ton Duc Thang Street in an effort to create a healthier and more sustainable environment after the COVID-19 lockdown in Ho Chi Minh City.

Le Méridien Saigon associates took a hands-on approach to cleaning up our local environment

The focus of this cleanup activity was to beautify and remove trash from hotel façade areas as well as to spread the hotel's spirit of caring to the community around. A major component of the cleanup was picking up and disposing of trash on Ton Duc Thang Street. Méridien Saigon associates divided into five groups. The team members picked up trash and categorised them while the team leaders recorded the quantity and types of trash.

And as Ho Chi Minh City starts to slowly relax its lockdown measures, we want to show our strength of community spirit by do this clean-up activity. Besides, we would like to let our guests know that we’re open for business with the necessary precautions to protect and welcome our guests after the lockdown,”Justin Malcolm, general manager of the hotel shared.
