KONE Vietnam shines at Smart City Award 2022

The award bagged by KONE Vietnam, the local entity of Finland-based world’s leading enterprise in the elevator and escalator industry, recognising the company's efforts towards being a trusted partner for developing smart and sustainable cities.

Its KONE DX class elevator has been featured in “Solution for smart building / apartment” category and KONE is the first and only FDI company named for this award. With the goal of optimising the project's functions, investors are increasingly interested in installing high-quality, smart elevators.

In Vietnam, KONE is one of the leading elevator suppliers, prominent with premier projects such as InterContinental Grand Ho Tram, Le Meridien Saigon, JW Marriott Hanoi, InterContinental Nha Trang, Pullman Phu Quoc, Masteri Centre Point, Lotte Mall Hanoi, WINK Hotels, GO! supermarket chains, among others.

The "Smart City Award 2022” is a worthy recognition for KONE's continuous efforts to contribute to smart urban and sustainable development in Vietnam.

The Smart City Award Vietnam has been annually organised by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association from 2020 to recognise, honour and encourage governments, businesses, organisations and units who have been making contributions to help cities become smarter, more livable, improve competitiveness and sustainable development.

The award also encourages businesses to develop advanced technical products and promote cooperation to build smart cities across the country.

Not only creating elevators with the basic function of connecting floors, KONE Vietnam always innovates to create breakthrough solutions, building a new era of digital transformation for elevators.

This is evident in the KONE DX class elevators, which was officially introduced in Vietnam in April 2022. In addition to improved interiors, customisable and elegant lighting, smart materials also keep elevators clean, reducing impact.

In particular, cloud computing technology through API connection helps users to actively press the floor selection button via the phone, display information in the elevator in real time, and a multimedia entertainment screen will help enhance the user experience to the next level.

KONE DX elevators are also designed to suit the needs and characteristics of each project. In addition, KONE Vietnam is committed to providing solutions and services to help customers achieve environmentally friendly ‘green building’ targets throughout all phases of the building life cycle, from design, construction to maintenance and upgrading.

To better serve customers, KONE Vietnam has recently introduced the newly renovated KONE Experience Centre with the latest technology such as KONE DX Class digital elevator, KONE 24/7 Connected service, KONE API service includes API elevator call, API service robot, and API equipment status.
