The exhibition “Italy: From Plein Air To Atelier” is part of a series of events commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Italy, marking a half-century of friendly ties and traditional cooperation between the two countries.

Over the past 50 years, the two countries have witnessed a meaningful journey of connection since the inception of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Italy. These years have fostered deep economic and diplomatic relations and provided opportunities for both nations to explore and disseminate cultural values.

“Italy: From Plein Air To Atelier” is a remarkable reflection of Italy's unique natural and cultural heritage through the perspective and artistic practice of two contemporary Vietnamese artists, Bui Duy Khanh and Duong Thuy. They recreate Italy's distinctive nature, architecture, and culture and incorporate their perspectives, thoughts, and emotions, taking viewers on a journey of discovery into the fusion and intersection of two cultures.
