Hanoi Autumn Carnival, which was part of the Hanoi Autumn Festival held from September 29 to October 1, attracted nearly 2,000 people who were artists, actors and ethnic minorities and people from districts, and towns.

The Carnival included many colourful and impressive performances such as dragon dancing, an Ao Dai performance, street music, and much more.

Specifically, the flower float by Me Linh district was brilliant with the colours of flowers. There was also a youth parade with performances to welcome autumn, an ao dai parade combined with bicycles decorated with flowers, and an ao dai parade combined with cyclos decorated with flowers.

There were also parades introducing the land puppetry of My Duc district, flute kites in Dong Anh district, street art performance troupes, national costume performances, and art dance and others.

Director of the Hanoi Centre for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Nguyen Anh Duong said, “In order to have a vibrant and colourful Carnival, making it a highlight of the Hanoi Autumn Festival, preparations were elaborately and carefully made with great support from local authorities, districts, organisations, and tourism businesses. The event helped to promote Hanoi tourism, helping the city draw in more tourists.”
