Frasers Property Vietnam on November 13 inaugurated a new computer lab at Phu My Secondary School, the largest public secondary school in Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province.

As part of its community investment initiative, the company donated 49 desktop computers and desks, with a total investment of VND700 million ($30,000). Employees from Frasers Property Vietnam also volunteered to renovate the computer lab, creating a conducive learning environment to improve students' access to information technology and foster digital literacy among the school’s nearly 2,500 students.

Edwin Tan, deputy CEO of Frasers Property Vietnam and managing director for Industrial & Logistics in Southeast Asia, shared at the event, “Frasers Property strives to contribute positively to the community wherever we operate.”

The initiative aligns with the Singapore-headquartered Frasers Property Group’s purpose: “Inspiring experiences, Creating places for good.” In Vietnam, Frasers Property’s community investment focuses on three core areas: Environment, Health and Wellbeing, and Education.

Through its education-focused initiatives, Frasers Property Vietnam aims to promote creativity and innovative solutions while nurturing talent to enhance societal resilience for the future.

Nguyen Thanh Triet, deputy manager of the Education and Training Department of Thu Dau Mot city, praised Frasers Property’s tangible contributions to education in the province. “This initiative exemplifies how businesses can make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and contribute to overall social development. It reflects the company’s high sense of responsibility and serves as a great motivation for the younger generation, helping to create a brighter future,” said Triet.

Pham Thi Bich Thuy, principal of Phu My Secondary School, expressed gratitude for the support. “We are deeply touched by Frasers Property’s generosity. In today’s digital age, equipping our students with computers is essential. These devices will help our students develop critical digital skills, foster independent thinking and creativity, and ultimately enhance the quality of education at our school,” she said.

Creating a positive social impact

Additionally, Frasers Property has partnered with the NGO Saigon Children to invest in community education by providing laptops to disadvantaged students.
