Five industrial property developers were honoured for their outstanding green transformation strategies in 2024 at the Vietnam Industrial Property Forum (VIPF) 2024, organised by Vietnam Investment Review and the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association.

The forum took place in Ho Chi Minh City on July 30, with the theme "Going green for new investment waves".

Pham Phu Ngoc Trai, chairman of GIBC, and an expert on the circular economy, said, “We highly appreciate the organising board in providing voting criteria that highlighted the economic benefits of compliance with environmental requirements and regulations and technological innovation.”

“Industrial developers and businesses should continue to ensure compliance with environmental regulations to move towards sustainable development and international integration,” said Trai.

Vietnam Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP) Joint Venture Company

VSIP is a joint venture between Vietnam's Becamex IDC Corporation and a Singaporean consortium led by Sembcorp Development.

VSIP currently operates nine IPs nationwide, attracting more than $15 billion in foreign investment with 880 tenants from more than 30 countries and territories, creating over 250,000 jobs. VSIP currently boasts 80 domestic and international awards and certifications. VSIPs are an exemplary and modern example of green and sustainable development.

AMATA VN Public JSC

AMATA, a leading industrial real estate group from Thailand with over 30 years of experience in Vietnam, currently owns four IPs across Dong Nai, Quang Ninh, and Quang Tri provinces, and two integrated urban area projects.

AMATA has more than 3,000 hectares that have attracted 220 investors with total investment of $6 billion, creating more than 60,000 jobs.

With a strategic orientation for sustainable development under the concept of a "smart city", AMATA in Vietnam has been accompanying customers, partners, international organisations, and agencies in piloting and implementing the construction of model eco-IPs.

Frasers Property Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a Singapore-headquartered multinational company with extensive experience in owning, operating, and developing diverse products and services in the real estate sector.

Frasers Property owns, develops, and manages more than 180ha of industrial land in key strategic locations in the north and south of Vietnam. The company has built more than one million square metres of infrastructure, factories, and warehouses according to green building standards that are fully adapted to the needs of the domestic manufacturing economy.

Shinec was established in 2001, headquartered in Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park, Thuy Nguyen district, Haiphong. The company plans to invest in the construction and trading of IPs with an ecological orientation nationwide and utility services.

Shinec has successfully invested in developing Nam Cau Kien IP with an area of ​​263ha.

Shinec is expanding eco-IPs nationwide covering 3,500ha, hoping to spread the image of Nam Cau Kien IP with green footprints and "happiness" to other investors.
