Investments are being made in educational projects, particularly through scholarships |
In September, the global multi-asset broker gave $45,000 to students at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. The 35 beneficiaries are third year students with a CPA of 2.5/4 or higher and competent in English.
Martin Thorvaldsson, corporate social responsibility (CSR) director of Exness Group shared, “We hope that this scholarship will help the students and also indirectly help the country develop further. We had some difficult beginnings to become the big company we are today. I believe the students here can also do the same in the future.”
The company is investing in projects across the educational spectrum, from providing crucial supplies to primary schools to top academic scholarship programmes. Through CSR, it aims to create its own approach, homing in on different focus areas.

In June, the company also funded the education of three students through a partnership with the University of Cape Town, the oldest and most prestigious university in South Africa.
This is the first time that the broker has given university students in South Africa the chance to continue their education at the post-graduate level through scholarships. The candidates were selected based on strict academic standards and individual interviews were also held by Exness and the university.
The programme seeks to give ICT-talented students the chance to further their academic training and pursue careers in technology.
“Our aim is to unleash human potential to create a fair and just society – in core academic functions, the cross-cutting responsibilities of transformation and social responsiveness, and the systems that support and sustain UCT’s work,” said Stafford Bomester, head of fundraising at the University of Cape Town.
“We strive to connect with like-minded visionary partners like Exness to aid us to reach our mission. We are appreciative of this partnership, and we continue to be optimistic to further expand our partner network.’’
Deserving students in Cyprus have previously received scholarships under the Exness Fintech Scholarships initiative; however, in 2023-2024, it will also be available in Vietnam, Thailand, and the Seychelles.
It is not just in education where Exness is offering a hand. In April, it accompanied the An Phuc charity organisation and others to co-sponsor the building of Phuc An 3 Bridge in the northern province of Ha Giang.

Some of the funding has gone to people in remote areas |
Traffic in the area is difficult due to the often harsh weather conditions. Especially on days of heavy rain, temporary bridges built by local people are often washed away. The construction of Phuc An 3 Bridge is necessary to ensure that primary school education for children here is not interrupted, as well as to maintain the activities of people in the commune taking place without delay.
Thai Viet Dung, commercial director off Exness Vietnam said, “We are committed to supporting projects that have a positive and long-term impact in the countries where we operate. Issues related to educational support receive special attention from us and we are very happy to participate in supporting this project. Basically, we want to help students not miss a single lesson in all weather conditions.”
Elsewhere, as a pioneer in fintech with a strong focus on the advancement of the financial markets, Exness teamed up with the University of Nicosia’s (UNIC) Institute For the Future to offer blockchain courses to all its employees last year.
With this collaboration, Exness provided its employees with the tools and knowledge that will encourage its prospects and product development.
The partnership has helped develop the next generation of industry leaders by giving all Exness employees the chance to enrol in any of the top blockchain courses that UNIC offers, such as an open online course in blockchain and Blockchain Academic Certification programmes.
