Doosan Vina’s Suppliers Association was established by the company’s Procurement Division on December 3, 2018.
Located in Dung Quat Economic Zone in the central province of Quang Ngai, Doosan Vina has undergone 12 years of construction and development in Vietnam.
The new move attests to the company’s ongoing efforts to share international knowledge, expertise, and network with Vietnamese companies.
The representatives of 11 suppliers participated in the establishment ceremony, including Central Region Electrical Mechanical JSC (CEMC), Chien Thang Engineering and Construction Company Limited, Huynh Duc Company Limited, and Vivablast (Vietnam) Company Limited to name but a few, who have been working with Doosan Vina from early on.
The new move attests to the company’s ongoing efforts to share international knowledge, expertise, and network with Vietnamese companies. |
Doosan Vina’s Suppliers Association will have four key objectives.
First is strengthening competitiveness. With the signing of this long-term partnership agreement, Doosan Vina will work to share expertise in technical matters, management, and operational processes, as well as offering incentives to help suppliers maximise their investment, grow, and stabilise their businesses by becoming more efficient and competitive.
Second is sharing and collaboration for sustainable development. Through presentations, hands-on teaching, and proven operational measures, Doosan Vina seeks to help bolster the development and sustainability of association members.
Third is spurring development and business expansion. The association is expected to create opportunities for business expansion between its member units through promoting the B2B model when doing business with Doosan Vina.

Last but not least is social contribution (CSR). Co-operation and networking will help association members get closer to each other and make contributions to the society through implementing CSR programmes.
"We have chosen you because we trust your capacity. Thanks to reputable suppliers we have been producing many quality products with the "Made in Vietnam" label that is now present in 33 countries around the world,” said Kang Sanghyung, director of the Procurement Division at Doosan Vina.
“I hope the establishment of the association will be a milestone, marking the beginning of a long-term relationship that will help maximise your profits, pushing up economic growth and boosting the presence of Vietnamese products in both the domestic and international market," he added.
From the part of suppliers, Do Minh Tam, director of CMC, said, “Joining Doosan Vina’s Suppliers Association is a great honour for all of us. With the agreement today and the commitments which we have made, I am sure we can strengthen our businesses and the relationship further.”
“This will enhance the competitiveness and benefits to all parties. We are committed to full co-operation and look forward to working closely with Doosan Vina on making this agreement an example of what can be accomplished when we work together."
