Dassault Systèmes and FPT Software sign strategic partnership

Dassault Systèmes, a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions and FPT Software, the leading provider of software outsourcing services in Vietnam today announced the signature of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to deliver industry focused solutions.

Dassault Systèmes and FPT Software will build a joint offering based on Dassault Systèmes solutions for telecom and banking customers in Vietnam. The two companies will work together to develop deep domain solutions for current and future telecom and banking customers that will combine ENOVIA Version 6 architecture and Exalead’s search-based applications technology with FPT Software.

Dassault Systèmesand FPT Software will also launch a centre of excellence for Vietnamese Telecoms. The capacity of the Business Services Solutions Centre will be increased from an initial 30 staffs to 100 with the support of FPT University’s training programme by 2012.

“The signing of this MoU is a clear commitment from Dassault Systèmes and FPT Software to create world-class business services infrastructure in Vietnam. We are enthusiastic about working with FTP Software and are confident that this alliance will positively contribute to the profound changes the business services sector is going through,” said Philippe Forestier, Dassault Systèmes executive vice president, global affairs and communities.

“This alliance will enable us to provide our customers with the solutions they need to promote innovation and to address many regulatory compliance risks,” he said.
