The “Inspired by Her” culinary programme is running from October 7-20 across Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel, including the international and seafood buffet restaurant Saigon Café, The Lounge, and Wine Bar.
This programme aligns with the hotel's commemoration of “Pinktober” month, raising breast cancer awareness, whilst also celebrating Vietnamese Women's Day.
At Saigon Café Restaurant, diners will have the opportunity to meet talented female chefs and discover the secret recipes behind their signature dishes.
Executive chef Hanh Nguyen, who has spent over 20 years on cuisine and creating unique flavours, will present an enticing grilled green lobster with chilli salt sauce crafted from a time-honoured recipe using hand-picked fresh, succulent green lobsters.
Meanwhile, drawing from a lifetime of culinary artistry and mastering the art of Vietnamese salads, chef Thom Nguyen will showcase her culinary expertise with an array of unique salads, offering a delightful exploration of fresh ingredients and vibrant flavours.
Chef Phuoc Nguyen, drawing on her decade-long experience in Vietnamese cuisine, will masterfully transform succulent herring into crispy fish rolls, paired with four exquisite dipping sauces that leave a lasting impression.
Chef Nga Tran, the soul of the pastry kitchen who has been leading a talented chef team for 20 years, will offer her signature tiramisu, a testament to her talent and artistry.

The Vietnamese Women's Day Seafood Buffet is available from 6-10pm on October 20, priced from VND 1,588,000 ++ per pax, including free-flow tea, coffee, soft drinks, and fresh juices (excluding alcoholic drinks).
The Lounge, situated in the grand lobby of Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel, presents the &More afternoon tea, inspired by feminine beauty and awash in pink hues, for a poetic and sophisticated experience.
Here, guests can unwind with a warm cup of tea whilst savouring an assortment of premium sweet and savoury pastries, including strawberry cream puffs, strawberry and berry macarons, cherry tarts, lobster butter sauce sandwiches, smoked duck, foie gras, and truffle mushroom beef puff pastries.
