Coteccons announces bid win and commencement of the Vietnam National University development project

The package is valued at nearly VND500 billion ($19.5 million), with the International Project Management Unit (VNU-HCM) serving as the project owner.

This is the first project financed by a World Bank loan that Coteccons has implemented, with a commitment to allocate 1 per cent of the package value to ensure compliance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programmes.

After three months of a transparent, rigorous, and professional bidding process, Coteccons is proud to announce its successful bid to undertake the construction of two items covering nearly 50,000 square metres.

Coteccons has committed to strictly adhering to the "Management Strategy and Environmental-Social Implementation Plan" throughout the construction process. The company focuses on strict compliance with and full implementation of environmental protection solutions at the highest level, including reducing noise, vibration, dust, emissions, wastewater, and waste, as well as managing erosion, landslides, etc. Additionally, the company demonstrates environmental and social responsibility by implementing solutions for traffic safety management, protection of urban landscapes, VNU-HCM landscapes, groundwater resources, and workers' camps.

Moreover, Coteccons has set forth a strict and professional working process that is in accordance with international standards. First, AI technology is applied to optimise performance and ensure safety and security at construction sites. Second, advanced construction techniques are continuously innovated and applied to improve quality and reduce construction time.
