2023 marks Carlsberg's fifth year of its "Fresh water for beloved Central" journey. The fresh water harnessed over the past five years had not only alleviated the hardships of the central region's residents but also brought hope for a brighter future.

For over three decades of companionship, Huda and Carlsberg Vietnam have tirelessly striven for the sustainable development of the central region. Through a series of community programmes aimed at improving the quality of life for its residents, Huda offers the opportunity for everyone to associate a meaningful experience in Central Vietnam.
It ignites a sense of pride in the natural beauty and cherished values of a land full of affection. The most prominent of these is the long-term corporate social responsibility programme "Fresh water for beloved Central" launched in 2019 with the goal of addressing the fresh water shortage in the Central Region.
After five years through 22 projects, the "Fresh water for beloved Central" programme achieved impressive results, helping nearly 33,000 people in more than 8,500 households in the central region access fresh water.
Onno Rombouts, managing director of Carlsberg Vietnam said, "The initiative is one of the corporation's long-term projects that has been carried out every year starting since 2019 to solve the shortage of clean water that still exists in many places in the central region. "
"The achievements that the programme has obtained over the past years are the biggest motivations to help the Huda team - Carlsberg Vietnam employees continue distributing efforts to maintain the initiative's goal, persistently bringing clean water to more local people in many years later," he said.
