Binh Dinh province signs deal with HoliTech to promote digital tourism

Binh Dinh Department of Tourism is working with Holi Vietnam Technology Development Investment Co., Ltd. (HoliTech) to enhance tourism services in the central province through technology and digitalisation.

Aiming to enhance management efficiency for tourism businesses, restaurants, and hotels, while also enriching the overall visitor experience in the region, the deal was signed on August 23.

At the signing ceremony, HoliTech introduced its apps, including Travel Q (a comprehensive travel application), Travel Q Partner (a check-in application for hotels), Travel Restaurant, Travel Traffic (for booking electric vehicles, airport transfers, taxis, and bikes), and Travel Hotel.

Speaking at the event, Bui Huu Nhan, CEO of HoliTech, shared that Binh Dinh is entering a new phase where technology plays a key role in improving service quality and enhancing the tourism experience.

“The digitalisation of tourism services is not just a trend; it has become an essential need, a driving force to help us keep pace with the rapid development of the global tourism industry,” said Nhan. “ The TravelQ platform has been engineered to enhance management efficiency for tourism businesses, restaurants, and hotels, and deliver additional value to the visitor experience in Binh Dinh.”

Tran Van Thanh, director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, said that tourism in the province has seen significant changes, contributing importantly to local socioeconomic development. “Digital tourism in the province has developed more comprehensively, keeping pace with global trends,” said Thanh.

With the goal of elevating tourism service quality through the digitalisation of activities such as hotel and restaurant management, as well as table payment and reservation systems via the pioneering TravelQ platform in Vietnam, this initiative will significantly enhance Binh Dinh's digital tourism presence and refine the overall visitor experience.

“Through TraveIQ, I hope that Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, HoliTech, and local businesses will collaborate closely to successfully execute digital tourism initiatives, offering visitors a remarkable experience of contemporary, convenient, and sustainable tourism,” said Thanh.

In the first seven months of 2024, Binh Dinh has hosted notable events and festivals aimed at attracting both domestic and international tourists, including prestigious international events. Particularly noteworthy was the successful Amazing Binh Dinh Fest Week 2024 in the final week of March. This event, which featured a diverse array of activities, drew over 710,000 visitors from both domestic and international markets, substantially bolstering the province’s reputation and contributing to the growth of its tourism sector.

Throughout the event week, the international UIM F1H2O World Championship Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024 also took place. It is considered one of the premier international powerboat racing events, featuring a blend of speed, adventure, and competitive rules. This prestigious race attracted more than 70 competitors from 30 countries and captured significant global attention from sports enthusiasts.

To accomplish these goals, Binh Dinh tourism has made substantial investments in infrastructure, developed appealing tourism products, and intensified marketing and promotional activities to attract both domestic and international investors. A major emphasis has been placed on digital transformation, aimed at enhancing service quality and solidifying the province’s reputation as a safe and appealing destination for travellers.
