In particular, the campaign ‘Enjoy Beer Responsibly Because Someone Needs You’ has been launched from 2021 with a series of activities over the years, such as, ‘Talkshow with experts’, activation week ‘Enjoy Beer Responsibly Because Someone Needs You’, and video clip contest, among others.
The initiative has yielded unexpected successes with impressive number as it has gathered more than 20,000 of signatures to commit ‘Don’t drink and drive’, and millions of students, workers, employees, and families responded strongly across the country.
AB InBev continues its journey and mission by collaborating with Begroup, a leading technology-based ride-hailing application, to launch the smart drinking campaign named “Enjoy Beer Responsibly Because Someone Needs You” with super discounts up to VND50,000 ($2)/trip when customers enjoy beer and book bebike/becar/beCarplus/betaxi services to go home from September 13 to October 4.
This aims to propel smart drinking culture in Vietnam, helping beer lovers in particular and people in general realise their responsibility at each gathering.
In addition, AB InBev expands its cooperation with XanhSM, a taxi booking application with all services operated by electric vehicles owned by leading conglomerate Vingroup.
Under the initiative, thousands of additional super discount vouchers up to VND50,000 ($2) are offered for all customers when booking Xanhbike/Xanhcar/Xanhcar plus during the timing that responds to National Traffic Safety Month and calls on customers to enjoy beer responsibly, use public transport to come home, and ‘don't drink beer and drive’.

The annual campaign “Enjoy Beer Responsibly Because Someone Needs You” is a testament to AB InBev's efforts in the sustainable development strategy of Environment - Society - Governance to promote positive and meaningful impacts on global scale in general and in Vietnam in particular.

Based on data reported by press agencies, the number of traffic accidents caused by drivers violating alcohol concentration is decreasing sharply over the years. In 2022, there were 13,000 cases, but in 2023, it decreased to 814 cases.
