About 200 booths of nearly 100 enterprises from 10 countries like Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Singapore will participate in the Vietnam International Conference and Exhibition on Control and Automation (VCCA) 2019.

This information was released at a press conference announcing that VCCA 2019 will take place in Hanoi on September 4-7 under the theme “Automation in Industry 4.0”.

The VCCA is held biennially by the Vietnam Automation Association (VAA) in co-operation with Hanoi University of Technology and VIETFAIR.

Addressing the conference, Nguyen Quan, chairman of VAA, said, “VCCA is a chance for the leading international and domestic scientists as well as businesses to publish their newest studies, technologies, and products that can help industrialisation and modernisation."

“There are three major activities, including a scientific workshop, international exhibition, and a business forum to effectively connect and exploit the connections among managers, scientists, and businesses,” Quan said.

According to Quan, the business forum will focus on the digitalisation of the economy, energy saving, green energy, smart city, smart agriculture, climate change, logistics, and the global value chain.

Besides, in the framework of the exhibition, there is a 45-metre area where independent young researcher groups can solicit financial support and look for information.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Phung Quang, chief of the VCCA programme, said, “The 2019 scientific conference pays great attention to quality. Reports are examined and reviewed by a scientific council of 57 professors, associate professors, doctors, and experts from universities and institutes."
